I've been managing an album with sub-albums containing almost 5,000 photos for an association: it's top-notch! I used to use Google Picasa... Having just returned from a wonderful family trip, we needed to find a way to share our photos while making it easy to distribute them to our friends. Being an open source promotor, unwilling to share photos with GAFAMs and having a web hosting, Piwigo was the perfect solution! Modular as you like, easy to use... Needless to say, for the next trip of this type I already know how we'll share the photos :-).

I've used Piwigo for my personal website on a Raspberry Pi for years. It is wonderful open source software. It allows family and friends to view our pictures and saves shipping them around by email. Keep up the good work team!
